Are you spiritually restless? Is your faith evolving? Are you on a journey of “deconstruction” — questioning and rethinking beliefs about God, faith and the universe? Are you in a church that no longer “fits,” struggling to balance the need for community with an experience that shuts down questions or doubts? Have you been misunderstood, chastised or labeled a heretic?

If so, you’re not crazy and you’re not alone.
We’ve been there too.

Join us for Reimagining Faith, the inaugural Open Table Faith Gathering! This 2-day event will host Mike McHargue, author and contributor to “The Liturgists” and “Ask Science Mike” podcasts. It will also feature Kathy Escobar, pastor of The Refuge in Denver, and author of several books including Faith Shift and Down We Go: Living into the Wild Ways of Jesus.

Over the course of these 2 days, you’ll also have the chance to hear stories of other wanderers, wonderers, seekers, doubters and misfits from Tyler and East Texas, and also have the opportunity to share about your own stories, in a safe and welcoming environment.

The goal of Open Table Faith is to draw together a diverse community around a more open, expansive, and inclusive faith. We hope that you can join us!
